Important Details

Regarding transportation, the vehicles available for your requested dates are all 13-seat minivans.

Although we do have two larger buses, for a group of your size, it is actually more practical, more comfortable, and more cost-effective to operate the service using multiple minivans traveling together in convoy.

For comfort and luggage capacity, we never place more than 8 passengers in a minivan (occasionally up to 9 if luggage is minimal). Any more than that would be too crowded and would significantly reduce comfort.

Our standard private transfer rate is $150 for 1 to 5 passengers, with each additional passenger at $13. Based on an average of about 8 passengers per minivan, the regular price would be approximately $190 per minivan.

However, because you are booking both the inbound and outbound transfers with us for the entire group, we are offering you a very good discount. On average, we are charging around $150 per minivan, which we believe is a very competitive rate for this type of operation.

Please keep in mind that with a group of this size, everything is calculated on an average basis. Some minivans may carry one more or one fewer passenger than others depending on luggage volume, arrival times, and operational logistics, but the overall pricing remains based on the average distribution across the fleet.

For the inbound transfer, with 24 passengers, we will use 3 minivans.

For the outbound transfer, with the full group of approximately 50 passengers, we will use 6 minivans.

All of the minivans will travel together in convoy whenever possible. We may make minor adjustments to passenger distribution or departure timing on the spot, depending on flight arrivals, luggage volume, and the specific luggage capacity of each vehicle. Some of our minivans have slightly larger luggage compartments than others, allowing us to optimize the loading while ensuring everyone travels comfortably.

Using multiple minivans also provides greater flexibility, faster loading and unloading, and easier access at hotels and attractions compared to a full-size bus. Our team will coordinate everything on-site to ensure the group travels together smoothly and efficiently.

⚠ Heads Up! To keep our prices as low as possible, we only charge a small deposit online. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the day of service. This helps us avoid high processing and banking fees in Costa Rica, which can reach up to 33% due to local regulations and financial institution charges. All our prices are in USD.

If you have a return transfer with us later in your trip, please remember not to spend all your cash, as you will need it for the balance of the final service.

We strongly recommend obtaining USD in cash before your service to avoid the additional 33% extra charge. Of course, we also accept local currency *(Costa Rican COLONES)*.

For security reasons, we do not make stops at ATMs in Costa Rica during the transfer, so please plan accordingly.

📌 Important Reminder: Please plan your cash expenses wisely and make sure to reserve enough cash for the remaining balances of your services, as agreed in the confirmation.

💵 All remaining balances must be paid in cash only at the end of each service.

And one final tip: in most cases, it is cheaper to withdraw cash from an ATM once you arrive in Costa Rica than to send a transfer before your trip, so we recommend planning ahead and bringing or withdrawing the cash you will need. 💵✈️
