🌋 Poás Volcano National Park
Poás is one of the most famous volcanoes in Costa Rica and features one of the largest active craters in the world.
Visitors can walk a short paved trail from the parking area to the crater viewpoint. The visit is relatively easy and usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour total, including walking and viewing time.
Because the park operates with strict timed entry reservations, tickets must be purchased in advance.

🌿 Optional Stop – La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park (Also could be lunch stop)
This private nature park is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Central Valley and includes:
• Several spectacular waterfalls
• Walking trails through rainforest
• Wildlife sanctuary with rescued animals
• Butterfly observatory
• Hummingbird garden
• Restaurants and viewpoints
A complete visit usually takes 2.5 to 3 hours to enjoy the trails and exhibits fully.
