Where and how do I find my driver at SJO Airport?

⚠ IMPORTANT: Our representative, holding a name board with your name, will welcome you inside DOOR NUMBER 4 (FIND US ON THAT CORRIDOR) at the restaurant EL MALINCHE MEETING POINT HERE. Once he finds you, he will guide you to the shuttle area and immediately notify your assigned driver and minivan. Due to airport regulations, drivers must wait nearby to ensure a smooth and efficient pickup process.
The process of disembarking, passing through 🛂 immigration, 🛄 collecting baggage, and clearing 🛃 customs at SJO Airport usually takes a little over an hour. Upon arrival, please get in touch with us through your preferred messaging app (Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, SMS, etc.) so we can stay updated on your progress. SJO Airport offers free Wi-Fi for your convenience.
Please note that due to airport regulations, our drivers are not always able to park directly in front of the arrivals area. At times, you may need to wait at the designated shuttle pickup area while our driver circles the airport. Rest assured, we will be there to pick you up.
Additionally, because we are in the peak of the high season, the adjacent parking lot is often full. Please note that SJO is a small international airport, and traffic can be quite congested during this time of year. We appreciate your patience — we’re on our way!

DO NOT PANIC if you do not immediately see our driver or representative by Door #4 (corridor). SJO Airport officers do not allow vehicles to wait for long in the shuttle zone and are constantly instructing drivers to move. Our minivans often need to circle the arrivals area several times, and each loop can take up to 15 minutes. WE WILL BE THERE.
Our driver or representative will be holding a sign with your name on it—please look for it.
DO NOT PANIC. Please keep in mind that FEBRUARY 2026 is peak season, and the airport becomes extremely crowded—especially around Door #4. Many individuals approach travelers offering transportation services and may even claim they can contact your shuttle company on your behalf. Please ignore them and look for our representative.
Do not engage with them. Do not use their phones. Do not make any payments.
The only payment you should make is the remaining balance, directly to our driver, once you are inside the van.
Stay calm, carefully follow the meeting-point instructions, and wait for our driver or representative. And once again— DO NOT PANIC.

Important Arrival Information for Groups on Different Flights
If your group is arriving on two separate flights, please note:
The first passengers to arrive should wait at Restaurant El Malinche, located next to Door #4 inside the airport. This is a convenient and comfortable meeting point.
Our driver will arrive when the last flight lands and escort the entire group to the vehicle.
The airport is undergoing renovations, so please LOOK FOR OUR DRIVER AND YOUR NAME BOARD before going outside the airport through temporary Door Number 4. Our driver will be there, holding a name board.
IMPORTANT: During peak hours, a designated representative welcomes our customers with a name sign. This individual will assist you in navigating to the shuttle area and will promptly notify your assigned driver. Our drivers remain nearby inside the airport due to restrictions on parking minibuses at the shuttle area during busy periods. This ensures a smoother and more efficient process for our customers during rush hours.
SUPER IMPORTANT: Feel free to contact us upon your flight’s arrival. The process of disembarking the plane, going through immigration, collecting baggage, and clearing customs typically takes ABOUT AN HOUR (2 hours during the high season), but this can vary depending on the flight. You can reach out to us via WhatsApp at any point during this process to stay in touch and accurately track your arrival. We’re here to assist you!
Please note that our prices are all-inclusive. Unlike many other companies, our rates include taxes. So, there are No EXTRA CHARGES at the time of arrival.
The type of van will be assigned on the same day, just before the transfer. The van number is displayed with a magnetic sticker and may be any vehicle from our fleet. Please refer to the fleet link to see examples of our vehicles.
