SJO Airport → Puntarenas Ferry Port
The first part of the drive takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic when leaving San José.
Puntarenas → Paquera Ferry
When we reach the port, we board the ferry.
The minivan goes onto the ferry with your luggage, so you stay together the whole time.
The ferry ride takes 1 hour and 10 minutes.
After the Ferry: Paquera → Santa Teresa
Once the ferry arrives in Paquera, the drive to Santa Teresa takes another 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on road conditions.

The total price includes the cost of transporting the minivan on the Puntarenas–Paquera ferry.
Passengers only need to pay their individual ferry ticket separately (about $1.50 USD per person, payable in cash at the terminal).
