☀️ Plan for the Day:

We’ll pick you up directly from Hotel Mango in the morning — we recommend an 8:00 AM pick-up to get an early start and enjoy the views while the skies are still clear.

After a scenic 1-hour drive up through the Central Valley, you’ll arrive at Poás Volcano National Park, where you can take in the incredible views of one of the largest active craters in the world. Walk the paved trail to the crater viewpoint and breathe in the cool mountain air.

📝 Please note: Entry tickets to Poás must be purchased in advance via SINAC’s official website. A valid passport number is required for registration.

🛑 After the volcano, on your way back down, we’ll stop at the stunning Hacienda Alsacia – Starbucks’ only coffee farm open to the public. You can relax, enjoy a coffee or snack at the café, and take in the view of the plantation and Poás Volcano in the background. You’re welcome to explore the visitor center or book a tour if available.

Finally, your driver will bring you back comfortably to Hotel Mango by early afternoon — just in time to relax, catch a flight, or continue your travel plans.
