🎯 First Stop – Mi Cafecito Coffee Tour & Community Project
📍 Mi Cafecito is your first stop on the way to Poás. This is a small, community-run coffee project nestled in the mountains, where you can walk among real coffee plantations, take fantastic pictures inside the fields, and support local producers.
☕ The coffee here is delicious, fresh, and significantly more affordable than Starbucks, making it a perfect place to buy unique, high-quality beans to take home.

📍 Mi Cafecito Main Tour – Hacienda Alsacia (Starbucks Coffee Farm)
Next, you’ll head to Hacienda Alsacia, Starbucks’ only coffee farm, located on the slopes of Poás Volcano. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to get ready for the English-language tour at 10:00 AM, where you’ll learn about Starbucks’ sustainability efforts and coffee process—from seed to cup.
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Poás region, visit the café with fresh food options, and relax on the terrace overlooking the plantation.

🍽️ Lunch or Snack Recommendations
After your visit to Hacienda Alsacia, Osvaldo can take you to one of the following well-loved local spots:

• 🍰 Fredo Fresas – A famous stop known for its creative desserts, including “Mi Dulce Algo” (My Sweet Something), a warm sweet plantain topped with cheese. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming — perfect for a sweet break.
