Privacy and Reservation Policy

Limitations of Liability

SJOShuttle Airport Shuttle and its affiliates will not be responsible for delays caused by weather, road, or traffic conditions; mechanical failure; or any other conditions beyond our control. Any expenses arising as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, mistakes and changes after confirmations, are the sole responsibility of the passenger.

Payments

Payment: All SJO Airport Shuttle services require a small down-prepayment with PayPal to secure the reservation, for security reasons (both parties) we will send you a PayPal money request (no PayPal Account needed) so you can make the downpaymment online (30% approx.)

The rest of the money will be paying cash to our driver at the time of drop off.

There is a $11 extra fee if you want to pay the totality of the rate on line. if you are paying the total rate on line the PayPal transaction has to be made 10 days prior transfer.

Late pick ups $20 extra: if you are being picking up after 9:30 pm and before 5: 30 am you have to add $20 to the price of the transfer.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled more than 3 days prior to the scheduled pick-up time will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 3 days hours prior to pick-up are not refundable.

Reservations cancelled more than 15 business days prior to the scheduled pick-up time will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 3 days hours prior to pick-up are not refundable.

Privacy

All information obtained to make your reservation is held in strictest confidence. We do not make names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, or any other personal information available to any companies or individuals except for those that are directly involved in the delivery of the services that you have requested.

Passenger Safety

The safety of our passengers is our highest priority. In order to maintain a safe and comfortable driving environment, our drivers have the right to deny or de-board any person who, in the driver’s judgment, is unruly, disruptive or poses a threat to the safety of the vehicle or anyone on board.

Private transfers are the ultimate in convenience and flexibility, tailored to your schedule and preferences. Your group has the van to yourselves and can request as many stops for photos or pit-stops as you like during the trip. Naturalist guides are also available with this service.

Notice: Prices for private transportation on Toyota Hiace or similar are for up to six passengers due to comfort and safety
Notice: Prices for Private transportation on Toyota Coaster or similar are up to 18 passergers due to comfort and safety

Lost Items

Passengers are responsible for their personal possessions. We try our best to return items left in our vehicles to their owners, but we assume no liability for lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced items. Any charges incurred in returning a left-behind item to its owner must be paid for by the owner.

Many bags look alike. Our drivers cannot be responsible for remembering which bags belong to each passenger. Upon reaching your destination, please check to see that you have retrieved all your belongings, and that each bag, briefcase, computer, etc. is, indeed, yours.

Small items are left in our vehicles most often (cell phones, cameras, small bags and sunglasses, in particular).

Gratuities

In most cases, shared-ride airport rates do not include a gratuity. Tipping is allowed and is much appreciated by our drivers.
